Time-Restricted Eating (TRE) is a way of eating where you only eat during specific hours, like 4 to 12 hours each day. This study looks at how TRE affects college-aged women’s daily activities, like exercise, sitting, and sleeping. These activities together are called the 24-hour Activity Cycle (24-HAC). TRE might help with weight and health, but we don’t know much about how it changes daily activities. This study will last for three weeks. Some women will follow TRE and choose their own 8-hour eating window, while others will eat normally but learn about nutrition. Everyone will wear a special watch to track their activities and write down when they eat. This study is for female students aged 18-26 at the University of Georgia. Some health conditions and habits might make someone unable to join.
- The study lasts three weeks and involves wearing a monitor and logging meals.
- Participants must be female students aged 18-26 from the University of Georgia.
