This study is aimed at adults with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), a condition where breathing stops briefly during sleep. Participants should already be using a positive airway pressure (PAP) therapy machine, which helps keep airways open while sleeping. The study compares a medicine called maridebart cafraglutide to a placebo (a harmless pill) to see which works better and is safe over a year. Participants need to have a body mass index (BMI) of 27 or more, meaning they are overweight, and have tried losing weight before. People with certain medical conditions or those who've had specific surgeries can't join.
- The study lasts for 52 weeks (one year).
- Participants must keep using their PAP machine during the study.
- Certain medical conditions will prevent participation.
