Phase 2

This study is for people with Type 2 Diabetes (T2D) who aren't reaching their blood sugar goals despite using Ozempic, a medicine to control diabetes. We are testing a new drug called icovamenib to see if it can help better than just Ozempic alone. The study lasts 52 weeks (1 year) and will check if icovamenib lowers HbA1c, a measure of blood sugar over time, more effectively. Participants must have been using Ozempic for at least 3 months and still have high HbA1c levels.

Important things to know:

  • Study duration is 52 weeks with regular visits.
  • Participants must be adults (18-70 years old) currently using Ozempic.
  • Excludes people with certain medical histories like Type 1 diabetes or recent severe low blood sugar episodes.

In this trial, you will be randomly assigned to get icovamenib or a placebo, which has no active medicine. Both you and the researchers won't know which one you are receiving, a method called double-blind. Participation involves regular check-ups and following study procedures. If you're interested, you'll need to provide written consent after understanding the study details.
