Phase N/A

Atrial Fibrillation (AF) is a heart condition where the heart beats irregularly. This study, called Conquer-AF, looks at a procedure called "redo ablation" to help people with a specific kind of AF, known as recurrent paroxysmal or persistent AF, who had a previous ablation that didn't stop their symptoms.

In this study, participants will have a redo ablation using special tools called the Sphere-9 Catheter and Affera Ablation System. Participants will be followed for 12 months after the procedure to see how well it works. The whole study will last about 2 years and take place in the U.S., Europe, and Australia.

  • Participants need to visit the hospital at 7 days, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months after the procedure.
  • Only people who had one previous AF procedure and are willing to follow study requirements can join.
  • Participants must be 18 years or older and not have severe heart-related issues.

Why should I take part in a clinical trial?

Participating in a clinical trial provides early access to potentially effective treatments and directly contributes to the healthcare advancements that benefit us all.

How long does a clinical trial take place?

The duration of clinical trials varies. Some trials last weeks, some years, depending on the phase and intention of the trial.

Do I get compensated for taking part in clinical trials?

Compensation varies per trial. Some offer payment or reimbursement for time and travel, while others may not.

How safe are clinical trials?
