Phase N/A
**Study Purpose:** This study will test a new method called **Delve Detect CSF** to diagnose infections in the brain and spinal cord. The method uses a special test called **mNGS** (metagenomic next-generation sequencing) to find germs in **CSF** (cerebrospinal fluid) more quickly than usual tests. CSF is a fluid that surrounds the brain and spinal cord. The study aims to see if this test can help doctors diagnose infections faster. **What is Involved:** - **Time**: The test results will be ready in about 2 business days. - **Process**: If you have symptoms like headache, fever, or confusion, you may be asked to join. A sample of your CSF will be collected. - **Safety**: Your information will be kept private. Personal details won’t be shared. **Key Points:** - **Participation**: You or your legal guardian must agree to join. - **Duration**: Results are faster, getting them in 2 days instead of 14. - **Testing**: Helps find infections that other tests might miss. This study could help improve how quickly and accurately brain infections are diagnosed.

Why should I take part in a clinical trial?

Participating in a clinical trial provides early access to potentially effective treatments and directly contributes to the healthcare advancements that benefit us all.

How long does a clinical trial take place?

The duration of clinical trials varies. Some trials last weeks, some years, depending on the phase and intention of the trial.

Do I get compensated for taking part in clinical trials?

Compensation varies per trial. Some offer payment or reimbursement for time and travel, while others may not.

How safe are clinical trials?
