Phase N/A

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a condition that can develop after someone experiences a scary or dangerous event. It can cause problems like nightmares, feeling very anxious, or avoiding things that remind you of the trauma. This study is testing a treatment called Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), which uses magnets to stimulate the brain. The idea is to see if TMS can help people recover faster from trauma and reduce PTSD symptoms.

To join the study, you need to be between 18 and 65 years old and have experienced a traumatic event in the last two weeks. You should also show significant PTSD symptoms but not from past traumas. If you're taking any mental health medication, the dose should be stable for at least six weeks.

  • The study is for individuals exposed to trauma in the last 2 weeks.
  • Participants need to have stable medication dosage if on psychotropic drugs.
  • Women must not be pregnant, as confirmed by a test on the first day of TMS.
