Phase 2

This study is checking if a medicine called TNX-102 SL helps adults with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). MDD is a condition where people feel extremely sad for a long time. TNX-102 SL will be compared to a placebo, which is a pill that looks the same but has no medicine. This helps scientists see if TNX-102 SL really works.

To join this study, you need to have MDD for 6 weeks to 18 months and understand English. People with certain other mental health problems or those who haven't been helped by at least two different antidepressants before are not eligible.

  • Duration: The study lasts for 6 weeks with medicine taken at bedtime.
  • Visits: Participants need to visit the clinic every 2 weeks for checkups and tests.
  • Risks: Possible side effects are being monitored to ensure safety.

This study helps researchers learn about TNX-102 SL's effects and any medical issues it might cause.
