Phase N/A

The RAPID-PE Study is testing special devices called BASHIR™.035 Endovascular Catheter and the BASHIR™ S-B .035 Endovascular Catheter. These are thin tubes used to treat blood clots in the lungs, known as *pulmonary embolism (PE)*. This study uses a medicine called *r-tPA* to help break the clots. The catheters have tiny holes that spread the medicine to different parts of the blood vessel.

  • The study involves a 7-day and 30-day follow-up via phone calls.
  • Participants must have had PE symptoms for less than 15 days.
  • Not for individuals with recent major surgeries or uncontrolled high blood pressure.

If you join, you'll need to meet certain conditions, like having an intermediate risk of PE, which means your condition isn't too severe but still needs treatment. You must also agree to the study rules, such as not joining another study at the same time. The doctor will decide which catheter is best for you. This study is not suitable for people with certain health issues like recent strokes or surgeries. It's important to talk with your doctor to see if this study is right for you.
