Phase 2

This study is looking at a new drug called **DT-101** to help treat people with **Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)**, which is a serious type of depression. Researchers want to see if DT-101 can help reduce depression symptoms. Some people will get DT-101, and others will get a **placebo**, which looks like the medicine but doesn’t have any medicine in it. The study will check how safe DT-101 is and how well it works compared to the placebo.

Participants will visit the clinic, have health check-ups, answer questions, and give blood and urine samples. These visits will last for *8 weeks*. During this time, researchers will check how DT-101 is affecting their depression and how the body uses the drug.

  • The study lasts 8 weeks with regular clinic visits.
  • Participants will either receive DT-101 or a placebo.
  • Health assessments and samples are part of the study.

*Note*: You should be between 18-75 years old, not pregnant, and have a history of depression to join this study. You cannot join if you have certain health conditions or a history of substance abuse.
