This study explores how people with Parkinson's Disease (PD) and Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) respond to a new treatment involving music and movement. Parkinson's Disease is a disorder that affects movement, while Mild Cognitive Impairment is a condition that can affect memory and thinking. The study aims to see if doing rhythmic exercises helps improve movement and thinking skills in these groups. Participants will learn new movement patterns set to music to see if this improves their ability to move and think. The study compares people with PD, MCI, and healthy adults.
- The study lasts 3 weeks, with sessions 3-5 times per week.
- Participants will be evaluated before and after the program.
- Participants need to be 18-79 years old, with specific health criteria.
Those interested should not have serious health conditions like recent strokes or severe arthritis. Participants will learn through music, which may make exercising more enjoyable and effective. The study helps researchers understand how music can be used in therapy for people with PD and MCI.
