This study is for adults with a specific type of prostate cancer called PSMA-positive metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). Prostate cancer is a disease where cells in the prostate grow uncontrollably. The study compares a new treatment called AAA817, given with an androgen receptor pathway inhibitor (ARPI), to standard treatments like chemotherapy or other drugs. ARPI helps block hormones that fuel cancer growth. Participants will get up to 6 doses of AAA817 through an IV, or the usual care decided by their doctor. The study checks if AAA817 helps patients live longer without their cancer getting worse. Only those who haven't had certain prior treatments can join. Safety checks are routine, and the study runs in the USA and globally.
- Duration: Up to 6 treatment cycles.
- Eligibility: Must not have had certain cancer treatments before.
- Location: Conducted in the USA and other countries.
