Phase 2

This study is for adults with Type 2 Diabetes (T2D) and are overweight or obese. It aims to see if a drug called AT673 helps with weight loss and blood sugar control when used with another drug, semaglutide. Type 2 Diabetes is when your body doesn't use insulin properly. Overweight means having more body weight than is healthy. Obesity is having too much body fat.

Participants will take semaglutide and either AT673 or a placebo (a fake treatment) for 13 weeks. A placebo is used to compare results. The study lasts 17 weeks, including a 4-week follow-up.

  • The study will have weekly clinic visits.
  • Participants will take injections of semaglutide and AT673 or placebo.
  • There will be a 4-week safety check after the treatment period.

You must be 18 or older, have Type 2 Diabetes for at least 6 months, and have tried to lose weight before to join. Certain medical conditions or treatments might exclude you from participating. Always discuss with your doctor before joining a study.
