**Study Overview**: This study is designed to see if a community health worker (CHW) can help improve care for people with a new diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, also known as PDAC. PDAC stands for Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma, which is a type of cancer that starts in the pancreas. The study will also look at how this support affects caregivers, the family members or friends who help the patients. **What Participants Will Do**: Participants will be split into two groups. One group will have help from a CHW who provides extra support and information. The other group will receive usual care, which includes handouts and videos. People in the study will meet with the study staff several times over 3 months and will fill out surveys about their experiences and symptoms. **Key Points to Consider**: - **Duration**: The study lasts for 3 months with several meetings. - **Visits and Activities**: Participants will meet in-person or via video with a CHW if assigned to that group. - **Eligibility**: Participants must be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and be able to communicate in English or Spanish. Note: This study is important for improving patient care and understanding the role of community health workers.
