This study is about a new treatment called endoscopic ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation (EUS-RFA) for pancreatic cystic neoplasms (PCNs) and pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (pNETs). These are types of growths in the pancreas that can sometimes turn cancerous. EUS-RFA is a technique where doctors use a tool that sends high-frequency currents to target and destroy these growths, without needing surgery. This can help people who can't have surgery or don't want it.
The study will see how well EUS-RFA works and if it's safe. It might help avoid surgery, which can be risky and expensive. Patients in the study will have the procedure and then be watched for at least a year to check for any side effects or if the tumors come back. The study is especially for people who can’t have surgery due to other health issues or age.
- The study includes at least a year of follow-up visits.
- It is for people unable or unwilling to undergo surgery.
- Participants must be able to provide consent and meet specific health criteria.
