This study looks at a treatment for advanced pancreatic cancer, a tough cancer that usually can't be treated with surgery. In this trial, researchers are testing if a special type of radiation, called Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT), works better when combined with ongoing maintenance therapy compared to maintenance therapy by itself. Maintenance therapy is treatment given to help keep cancer from coming back.
Participants must be between 18-70 years old, have a confirmed pancreatic cancer diagnosis, and have completed at least four months of chemotherapy. They will be split into two groups: one will get SBRT plus maintenance therapy, and the other will receive only maintenance therapy. The main goal is to see if this combination helps patients live longer.
- The study will last at least one year and involves multiple visits to the clinic.
- Participants must have stable disease after chemotherapy to join the study.
- There are specific health requirements and exclusions, like no recent use of certain drugs or other treatments.
