Study Purpose: The study aims to see if a new method called LINFU® can help find early signs of pancreatic cancer in people with IPMN (a type of growth in the pancreas). IPMN stands for Intraductal Papillary Mucinous Neoplasm.
How LINFU® Works: LINFU® uses a special type of ultrasound called Low Intensity Non-Focused Ultrasound that might improve tests on the juice in the pancreas. This method helps shake loose cells from the pancreas, making it easier to detect cancer early. Special computer tools also help make these tests more accurate.
- The study is for people aged 18-90 with IPMN.
- Participants need to have recent imaging tests like MRI or CT scan.
- Participants must sign a consent form and cannot have certain health issues or be pregnant.
By joining, you help researchers understand if LINFU® can lead to earlier treatments and better health outcomes. However, only people who meet the specific criteria and are healthy enough for the procedure can participate. Always discuss with your doctor to see if this study is right for you.
