This study is for adults aged 18-80 with a type of pancreatic cancer that has spread and has a specific gene change called KRAS G12D mutation. Pancreatic cancer is a disease where harmful cells form in the tissues of the pancreas. The study is comparing a new treatment called GFH375 with standard chemotherapy. Chemotherapy is a common cancer treatment that uses drugs to stop the growth of cancer cells. To join, participants must have tried at least one standard treatment before, like fluorouracil or gemcitabine, which are types of chemotherapy drugs, and their cancer must have worsened or they couldn't tolerate the last treatment. This study needs participants to have a good chance of living at least 12 more weeks and have at least one detectable tumor.
Here are some key points to consider:
- This study is conducted with a 1:1 randomization, meaning you have a 50% chance to be in the experimental group.
- You must not have received certain cancer treatments recently or have other serious health problems.
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you cannot join this study.
