The study is about testing a tool called the Heat Sensitivity Scale in Turkish for people with Parkinson's disease. Parkinson's disease is a brain disorder that leads to shaking, stiffness, and difficulty with walking and balance.
Researchers want to make sure the tool is reliable and works well in Turkish. They will check if it gives accurate results (validity) and if it gives the same results when used again (reliability). This can help doctors better understand how Parkinson's patients feel about heat.
- This study is for people aged 40-85 with Parkinson's disease.
- Participants should be able to understand and complete tests.
- Those with severe health issues or major psychiatric disorders cannot join.
Participation involves visiting the Movement Disorders Outpatient Clinic and requires written consent. If you have any major health problems like severe heart disease, or if you can't see or hear well enough to do the tests, you might not be able to join. But if you fit the criteria, your participation could help improve care for others with Parkinson's disease.
