Phase 4
This study explores using a special radioactive drug called **123I-MIBG** to help find a neurologic disorder known as **Lewy Body Disease (LBD)**. LBD is a serious brain disease that affects memory and movement, like Parkinson's disease. The study uses a technique called *myocardial MIBG scintigraphy*, a type of heart scan, to see if it can predict LBD early. Participants with different brain and movement problems, or even normal brain function, will take part in this study. The drug **AdreView™**, used in the scan, is not approved in the U.S. for LBD but is used in Europe and Japan. The study will check if the scan can help doctors find LBD sooner.
  • The study includes people with certain brain or movement issues.
  • Participants need to be stable in their medication and health.
  • It's important for caregivers to be involved if the participant has dementia.
This study helps researchers learn more about using special scans to find LBD early and prepare for future tests that may treat the disease.
