Young Onset Parkinson's Disease (YOPD) starts before age 50 and affects life deeply. This study aims to understand how YOPD happens by looking at biological processes and markers, which are like special signs in the body. The researchers will gather information from people with YOPD, those with Late Onset Parkinson's Disease (LOPD), and healthy individuals. This involves collecting data through questionnaires, clinical exams, and interviews. They will collect blood samples and perform a skin punch biopsy (a small skin sample). In some cases, a lumbar puncture (a spinal fluid sample) will be taken to study these markers further.
- Study involves one in-person visit at the study center.
- Involves tests like blood samples and skin biopsies; some may have a lumbar puncture.
- Participants must be 18 or older; specific criteria apply for YOPD, LOPD, and healthy controls.
