Phase N/A

NAD Supplementation in Parkinson's Disease is a research study to see if a vitamin called Nicotinamide Riboside (NR), which is a form of Vitamin B3, can help people with Parkinson's disease. This vitamin might improve brain blood vessels, memory, and how people move. NR isn't officially approved for treating Parkinson's yet, so it's considered investigational.

Participants will either take the NR vitamin or a placebo, which is a fake pill with no medicine, to check if the vitamin has good effects. The study lasts for 13 weeks, and there are 3 visits to the University of Oklahoma Health Campus. During these visits, participants will answer questions, do memory and balance tests, and have their blood checked.

  • Study takes 13 weeks with 3 visits.
  • Participants must be 55 or older with Parkinson's.
  • Participants may receive compensation for their time.

If you meet the criteria and are interested in joining, this study might help researchers learn more about using NR for Parkinson's disease. Always talk to your doctor before joining any study to ensure it's right for you.
