The Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) Clinical Trial Platform is testing a drug called AADvac1 to see if it is safe and works well for people with PSP. PSP is a brain disease that makes it hard to move, talk, and think. This trial platform, or study, is like a big umbrella for testing different treatments using one set of rules.
To join, participants must first enroll in the Master Protocol, which is like signing up for the entire study. If you are chosen for Regimen A, you’ll either get the AADvac1 drug or a placebo (a pretend drug) randomly. This is to make sure the test is fair and to see if the drug really helps.
- Participation involves random assignment to receive either the active drug or a placebo.
- Eligibility includes having PSP symptoms for 5 years or less and being able to walk with some help.
- Participants must not have certain medical conditions, like severe allergies or recent surgeries.
Make sure you understand all parts of the study and discuss any concerns with your doctor before joining.
