A Long-Term Open-Label Study is a research project where participants and researchers know what treatment is being given. This study is for adults with schizophrenia, a brain disorder affecting how a person thinks and behaves. The study lasts 52 weeks (about a year) to see how safe and effective the medicine ML-007C-MA is over time.
Eligibility: Participants must have a main diagnosis of schizophrenia confirmed by a structured interview. They should live in a stable environment and be capable of outpatient care, meaning they don't need to stay in a hospital.
Exclusion: People with other mental disorders, recent substance abuse, or those at risk of harming themselves or others cannot join. They also cannot have allergies to the study medicine.
- Duration: The study lasts for 52 weeks, so participants need to be committed for about a year.
- Visits: Regular check-ups are necessary to monitor health and progress.
- Risks: Potential risks include side effects from the medication, which will be closely monitored.
Participation is voluntary, and all information will be kept confidential.
