This study is testing a new medicine, ITI-1284, to help people with psychosis linked to Alzheimer's Disease (AD). Psychosis means seeing or believing things that aren't real. The study is "double-blind," meaning neither the doctors nor the patients know who gets the real medicine or a "placebo" (a fake pill).
People can join if they have Alzheimer's diagnosed by special tests, show signs of psychosis, and have a caregiver. They cannot join if their psychosis is due to other issues like substance abuse or other medical problems, or if they have a high risk of suicide.
- Study Length: The study is flexible on dosage and duration, depending on individual needs.
- Visits Needed: Regular visits to the center for check-ups and monitoring.
- Compensation: Participants may receive compensation for their time and travel.
