This study looks at a medicine called votoplam to see if it helps people with early Huntington's Disease (HD), a disorder that affects the brain. The study will last up to 36 months, but not everyone will be in it for the full time. There are three parts: a Screening Period to see if you can join, a Double-blind Treatment Period where you might get votoplam or a placebo (a pill that looks the same but has no medicine), and a Safety Follow-up Period to check on your health after the study ends.
- The study can last up to 3 years, but not all people will stay that long.
- You need to be between 21 and 70 years old to join.
- You cannot join if you have certain health issues or are pregnant.
Before joining, you need to sign a consent form if you agree to participate. This form explains everything about the study. Some people will get the real medicine, while others will get a placebo to compare results. Participants' health will be monitored throughout the study to ensure safety.
