This study looks at how well children with cancer are cared for at the end of their lives. Researchers want to understand how access to care, interactions with healthcare providers, and stress affect the quality of this care. They hope to use this information to help improve care in the future.
The study has two parts:
- **Part 1**: Reviewing medical records of children who have passed away.
- **Part 2**: Parents of these children fill out a survey and can join an interview.
To be part of the study, the child must have been under 18, diagnosed with cancer, and lived in the U.S. Parents or caregivers must have known about the child's care, speak English or Spanish, and give consent to participate.
- Key Point 1: Participation is for parents of children who have passed away.
- Key Point 2: There are surveys and interviews, but no treatment involved.
- Key Point 3: No compensation is mentioned for participating.
