This study focuses on patients with Parkinson Disease (PD) who already use Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), a treatment that sends electrical signals to the brain. We are exploring how a special type of DBS, called Adaptive DBS (aDBS), affects sleep. Sleep is important because it helps our brains rest and store memories. Many people with PD have trouble sleeping, which can make their symptoms worse.
In our study, we will look at how aDBS can be adjusted to improve sleep. We will do this by observing participants' sleep patterns at home for 15 nights. During this time, participants will try 3 different aDBS settings to find the one that helps them sleep best. We will also compare their sleep before and after using the best aDBS setting.
- This study will last for 15 nights with in-home sleep monitoring.
- Participants will use different aDBS settings to find the best for their sleep.
- We will compare sleep data from before and after using the best aDBS setting.
