Prenatally-initiated Psychological Intervention for Mothers of Infants With Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) is a study that helps pregnant women whose babies have a heart problem called Congenital Heart Disease (CHD). This study tries to see if a mental health program called
HeartGPS can help mothers feel better and support their baby's growth. CHD is when a baby is born with a heart that did not develop normally before birth. The study compares two groups: one group gets regular care, and the other group gets regular care plus the HeartGPS program, which is done online before the baby is born.
You can join if you're pregnant with one baby diagnosed with CHD and planning for heart surgery soon after birth. You must speak English or Spanish and be able to answer questions online. However, if you or your baby have other serious health issues, or if you are under 18, you cannot participate.
- The study involves online activities.
- It includes both mothers and their babies with CHD.
- Participants must complete most of the initial survey.
