Phase N/A

The IVUS CHIP UPP Registry is a study that looks at how well a special heart procedure works and how safe it is. IVUS stands for Intravascular Ultrasound, a tool that helps doctors see inside blood vessels. PCI is Percutaneous Coronary Intervention, a treatment to open up blocked heart arteries. This study will include 1010 patients over a period of up to 2 years. People in the study will have heart blockages that need the PCI treatment.

To be part of this study, you must be at least 18 years old and identify as a minority based on US census data. You should have specific types of heart blockages and be able to use certain heart stents or balloons. If you have had a major heart attack recently or have certain other health conditions, you may not be eligible.

  • The study lasts up to 2 years, and patients will be checked up during this time.
  • Only one participation per person is allowed, and informed consent is required.
  • Participation may involve certain risks and requires cooperation with the study procedures.
