This study will test a medicine called orforglipron to see if it helps people who are overweight avoid getting serious health problems like type 2 diabetes (high blood sugar), hypertension (high blood pressure), and dyslipidemia (unhealthy cholesterol levels). You also need to have tried and failed to lose weight through diet and exercise.

  • The study does not accept people who have certain conditions like diabetes or have taken weight-loss medicines recently.
  • Participants cannot have had or plan to have surgery for weight loss.
  • The study excludes individuals with unstable body weight or those with a history of severe overweight.
