Phase 3

This study is for people with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) Stages 3b and 4, where kidneys don't work well. The study tests if taking two medicines, balcinrenone and dapagliflozin, together is better than just dapagliflozin. Dapagliflozin is a medicine that helps kidneys by getting rid of sugar through urine. The study aims to see if these medicines can lower the risk of heart and kidney problems.

Participants will take these medicines as a capsule once a day, alongside their regular treatment. The study involves around 550 locations in about 30 countries. Patients will be randomly assigned to take either the combination of balcinrenone and dapagliflozin or just dapagliflozin.

  • The study will last for several months, but the exact time depends on events happening in participants.
  • Participants will need to visit the study site for regular check-ups.
  • There may be risks, like side effects, but the safety of the drugs will be closely watched.
