Phase 3

This study looks at how well and safely brenipatide works for adults with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). MDD is a condition where people feel very sad, hopeless, or lose interest in things they once enjoyed. The study compares those taking brenipatide with those taking a placebo (a fake treatment) alongside their regular treatment to see if it helps keep depression symptoms from coming back.

Study Details:

  • The study lasts about 15 months: 1 month screening, 12 months treatment, and 2 months follow-up.
  • Participants must be ready to self-inject the study medicine and keep diaries.
  • Compensation is usually provided for participation, but check with the study team for details.

To join, you need to have MDD, be on stable medication, and visit doctors as needed. You cannot join if you have other mental health conditions like bipolar disorder or eating disorders, or if you have certain medical conditions like type 1 diabetes. It's important to be reliable and follow all study instructions.
