Phase 3

Study Purpose: This study is testing if the medicines calderasib and pembrolizumab work better together to treat a kind of lung cancer called Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC). Calderasib is a special medicine that targets a change in the KRAS G12C gene.

Study Goal: Researchers want to see if patients live longer without the cancer growing or spreading when using these medicines together, compared to using pembrolizumab with chemotherapy.

Who Can Join: Adults with specific types of NSCLC that can’t be cured by surgery or certain treatments can join. People with well-managed HIV can also participate. Those with other serious health issues or different types of cancer might not be able to join.

  • Participants will receive either calderasib and pembrolizumab or pembrolizumab with chemotherapy.
  • Participants may need to visit the clinic regularly for treatment and check-ups.
  • Risks include possible side effects from the medicines used in the study.
