Phase 3

This research study is designed to test how well zenagamtide tablets help people lose weight safely. Zenagamtide is the treatment being tested, and a placebo, which looks like the treatment but has no medicine, is used for comparison. Participants are randomly assigned to receive either zenagamtide or placebo, which means it’s decided by chance, like flipping a coin.

To participate, you must be at least 18 years old. If you have high blood sugar levels, called glycated haemoglobin (HbA1c), above 6.5%, or have a history of diabetes, you can't join. Also, if you have used specific diabetes treatments like GLP-1 receptor agonists, you are not eligible.

  • The study involves taking a tablet once a day.
  • Participants are randomly assigned to groups, so you won't know which treatment you receive.
  • Eligibility requires you to be 18 or older and have no history of diabetes.
