Tributyrin for Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) is a research study aimed at testing the safety of a supplement called tributyrin in people with PSP. PSP is a brain disorder that affects movement, speech, and vision. The study is conducted virtually, which means participants will need internet access and a webcam to take part from home. To join, you must be 45 years or older, diagnosed with PSP-Richardson syndrome, and have a caregiver. You cannot join if you have certain medical conditions, are pregnant, or use some specific medications.

  • The study is a virtual trial, so no need for clinic visits.
  • Participants must have a caregiver for assistance.
  • Some health conditions and medications might exclude you from joining.

If you meet the criteria and are interested, this study could help researchers learn if tributyrin is a safe treatment for PSP. Always talk to your doctor before joining a study.
