This study is testing how well people with Parkinson's disease (PD) can take care of themselves after a special spa treatment. Parkinson's is a disease that affects movement and can make people shake or have trouble walking. The study uses a new test called the Czech Functional Efficiency of Self-sufficiency Test (FEST) to see how independent PD patients are. It also checks if this test works well for people with Parkinson's. The study looks at how the spa treatment changes things like thinking skills, balance, fear of falling, and walking. Patients will take tests when they start, after a 3-week spa program, and later to see if there are improvements. To join, you must be 50-80 years old, be able to walk by yourself, and have a specific score on a memory test called the Adenbrooke's Cognitive Examination. You cannot join if you have severe memory problems, other conditions that affect walking, or serious mental health issues.
- Study lasts 3 weeks with a follow-up after.
- Participants must live near or travel to a Czech spa center.
- Participants will undergo rehabilitation and testing at the spa.
