Phase N/A

Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is a very serious type of cancer affecting the pancreas. Despite treatments like surgery and chemotherapy, survival rates are low. This study looks at a new treatment called histotripsy. Histotripsy uses sound waves to break down tissue in the pancreas without using heat or radiation, which can protect important nearby vessels and ducts. The goal is to see if histotripsy can safely control tumor growth and boost the immune system's response in people with pancreatic cancer. The HistoSonics Histotripsy System is approved for use in Hong Kong.

  • The study is seeking adults (18+) with specific conditions related to pancreatic cancer.
  • Participants must be fit for general anesthesia, and the tumor must be visible by ultrasound.
  • People with portal vein thrombosis or uncontrolled bleeding issues are not eligible.
