This study focuses on using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to understand how language changes in people with diseases like Alzheimer's, Primary Progressive Aphasia, and Parkinson's. AI helps find patterns in speech that might be early signs of these diseases, making diagnosis faster and less costly than traditional methods.
Participants, aged 40-85, will have a 1.5-hour remote assessment using video calls. During this time, they will do language and cognitive tests while their speech is recorded. The AI then analyzes this data to find unique language features of each disease, which can help doctors create personalized treatments.
The study uses advanced AI models like BERT and RoBERTa to understand complex language patterns. It also includes healthy people for comparison, ensuring the results are reliable. This research could lead to better, more efficient ways to manage these diseases.
- Study involves a single 1.5-hour video assessment.
- Participants must be Italian speakers aged 40-85.
- No severe hearing/vision issues, other neurological conditions, or certain cognitive scores.
